Looking back in time...

December 31, 2004 -- I can't believe that I have practice medicine for 37 years!  It seems like yesterday that I graduated from the University of Louisville and started practicing in Indian & Kentucky.

I met and married my wife, Debbie; who was a pediatric nurse at St. Augustine General Hospital soon after moving to St. Augustine, Fl.

Then in 1976, we moved to Millville, NJ and practice in an ex-candy store on the corner of 3rd & Main Street; working nights in the Millville ER.  My practice grew quickly as older doctors retired.  I later moved into a doctor's house/office on Second Street in Millville.

With the advent of insurance companies, managed care markedly increased my practice load numerically.  And with record keeping along with general office work, it became increasingly difficult to practice medicine from a home/office.  We moved yet again, to High & Broad Street next to Knowles Pharmacy.

After 20 years as a solo practitioner and the increased patient load, it made it necessary to add associates and expand the office staff.  After years of evaluating the prospects, we were fortunate to find two young doctors to join Holly City Pediatrics, PA.

The youngsters have improved the office process and modernized the medical aspects of the practice.

Today, I am preparing for my retirement.  And the years have passed by so quickly.  I would like to share with you all that it has been an honor and my privilege to have been entrusted with the care of so many of your children.  I am proud to have had the opportunity to help them throughout my 28 something years in our home town - Millville.
